President and CEO

Rob FfieldRob Ffield

Rob consults, lectures and teaches in the areas of leadership, strategic planning/execution, personal transition planning and global business. His clients are from a wide variety of industries including aerospace, defense, education, energy, health care and non-profits. He co-developed a revolutionary life transition training course for military veterans and currently speaks to numerous organizations on “Creating a Culture of Excellence … Leading to Sustained High-Performance Execution,” “Your Ultimate Personal Performance” and “Expanding Your Thinking from a Tactical Manager to a Strategic Leader.”

Rob spent over 27 years in the US Navy with a diverse background including positions as the Commanding Officer and Flight Leader of the famous Blue Angel Flight Demonstration Team, a two-time TOPGUN instructor and a Commanding Officer of both a Carrier Air Wing and an FA-18 Squadron. He spearheaded several high-profile, enterprise-wide process improvement efforts vastly elevating the education, training and combat performance of the Navy’s most elite aviators. During tours as an Executive Officer on the staff of the Joint Chief’s and the Commander of NORAD, US NORTHCOM, he coordinated policy development between Capital Hill, the National Security Council and government agencies and ensured flawless operational execution during numerous real-world national security events. He has planned and facilitated minister-level strategic and operational policy exchanges on nearly every continent.

Rob has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies and has completed executive courses in business, leadership and process improvement. He previously served as the Executive Director of the non-profit, Veterans Transition Inc. Rob is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of CATSHOT Group, LLC.

Team

George Moore

George was formerly a senior principal for Accenture, an international consulting firm, where he specialized in business strategy, marketing, business development, web-based services, retail, and infrastructure development for its strategy practice. In that capacity, he counseled executives and boards of Fortune 500 companies, as well as mid-cap companies. He has advised companies such as AT&T, Arrow Electronics, T-Mobile, Comcast, Kmart, Albertson’s, American Family Insurance, Prudential, Kaiser Aluminum, Sumitomo, Fuji Bank, and Wells Fargo, among others. Previously, he served in senior management for ANTEC, a $700 million product provider to the cable industry, where his responsibilities included mergers & acquisitions, marketing and managing $1 billion in products and materials in the first supply chain/logistics program in the industry. Fluent in Japanese, George was the founder and President of The Bear Group, a Japanese biometric firm. A former naval aviator with a BS engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School, he also attended the Japanese Naval Command and Staff College in Tokyo, Japan.

Mike BoatnerMike Boatner

Mike is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 20 years of strategic planning and operations expertise including experience in the Joint, Combined and Interagency environment in three Combatant Commands. His experience includes sequential joint headquarters division chief positions in both bi-national (US Forces Korea and NORAD) and multi-national (European Command and Northern Command) operations, logistics, and security cooperation environments. Most recently at Northern Command, Mike was chief of a core cell of 50 military planners and played a central role providing 4-Star commander decision support in every major contingency, National Level Exercise (NLE), and National Special Security Event (NSSE) across the command missions of Homeland Defense, Civil Support, Counterdrug / Counter-terrorism Operations, and Global Force Management (GFM). Mike has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from West Point, a Master’s degree in Systems Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, a Master’s degree in Military Art and Science from the Army’s Command and General Staff College and a Master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.

Andy DesJardinsAndy DesJardins

Andy brings 28 years of practical hands-on experience in the areas of Manufacturing/Operational Discipline, Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies, Product Development and Cycle Time Excellence, Enterprise Resource Planning and Integrated Business Management processes. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. His most recent experience as a Global Supply Chain Manager for a Fortune 100 Company includes merging several business units into one business unit. Andy has held leadership and senior management positions in Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, R&D Senior Plant Staff and Supply Chain functions.

Kurt A. JohnsonKurt A. Johnson

Kurt A. Johnson brings clients unparalleled insights into U.S. Homeland Security needs based on his distinguished legal career in the Navy, briefing senior leaders. He currently serves as the Associate Director for Homeland Defense and Homeland Security Programs at the Center for Homeland Security, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from the University of Wisconsin; a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Wisconsin; and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in international law from the University of Virginia. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 2008 with the rank of Captain (O-6). During his 24-year career, he served worldwide primarily as an advisor to U.S. military commanders. He was the senior legal advisor to the Commander of NORAD and USNORTHCOM from 2005 to 2008, grappling with some of the most challenging legal and policy issues in the Department of Defense. From 2001 to 2003, he served as the senior U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps Legal Advisor to the top naval commander in the Middle East during Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Maury DobbieMaury Dobbie

Maury’s entrepreneurial career started when she was 19 years of age and since has founded and operated six diverse companies, holding CEO positions, since joining the CATSHOT team. Her background in economic development as a CEO of a regional organization offers wide expertise and understanding of solving complex government, private industry, political, stakeholder and cultural issues in order to accomplish the necessary outcomes. Her understanding in strategic planning, implementation, deal making and people make her a valued team member as a business development professional. Once an Olympic athlete on the U.S. TaeKwonDo team, Maury learned many business and tactical skills that applies to industry. She has served on multiple boards of directors and currently is a Board of Governor, appointed by the Governor, for the Colorado Community College System made up of 13 community colleges in 27 different locations in the state. Maury has been honored for her leadership by receiving numerous business awards including “Entrepreneur of the Year” award by the Northern Colorado Business Report, the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) “Women in Business Champion of the Year” and the prestigious national award by Office Depot as “Businesswoman of the Year”. Maury earned a Business Administration degree and her 30+ years of business experience brings a wealth of diversity and effective implementation of measurable outcomes to CATSHOT’s team of experts.

William DelGregoWilliam DelGrego

William “SHoes” DelGrego specializes in Strategic Planning, Executive Education and Facilitation and Federal Business Process Improvement and Innovation. SHoes was previously employed by Accenture, a global consulting, technology and outsourcing firm, as Vice President in their Federal Practice executing Federal Business Development, including: Strategic Consulting, Opportunity Direction, Deal Shaping, Capture Management, Client Account Leadership, and Business Development Director roles. Prior to Joining Accenture, SHoes served over 26 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a colonel. His assignments included Chief of Strategy and Concepts at Headquarters Air Force in the Pentagon, three operational commander tours at the Fighter Group and Squadron level, and as Executive Officer to the Chief of Staff, in the NATO Headquarters during Bosnian Air Operations. He has extensive experience in the Department of Defense as a Concept and Strategy developer and is a graduate of the USAF Fighter Weapons School, the School of Advanced Airpower Studies, Harvard’s Weatherhead Center for International Relations, the MIT Seminar XXI program and the CATSHOT Veterans Executive Transition course.

Kristin Larson

Kristin has an extensive background in accounting and finance and has strong leadership and project management skills. She has worked for Deloitte and Touché, LLP as an external audit intern. Prior to working at CATSHOT, she worked for the Leeds School of Business where she assisted students in securing employment and developing their professional networks. At CATSHOT Group, Kristin handles all speaking engagements, financial reporting efforts and plays a key role in the development of project plans and event coordination.

At the University of Colorado Boulder, Kristin pursued a Master’s degree in Financial Accounting and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance. She was also involved in the Beta Gamma Sigma, International Honor Society and the Beta Alpha Psi, National Honorary Fraternity.
