Facility Security Officer (FSO)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE (CLARIFICATION): This position is currently a part-time W2 employment contract. However, depending upon experience level, desire, and employee location, this position has the opportunity to become full-time with additional responsibilities assigned. Additional duties may require occasional travel to Gilford, NH. As the FSO, you will serve as the primary liaison between CATSHOT Group, LLC. and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). You will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of our Facility Security Clearances (FCL), consultant Personnel Security Clearances (PCL), and Insider Threat Program ensuring strict compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and emerging CMMC 2.0 standards.

Previous experience working as a FSO or an Assistant FSO. Experience working as an Insider Threat Program Security Official. Experience going through a DCSA Security Audit. Experience entering classified visit requests in DISS, declaring foreign travel, initiating re-investigations, declaring incidents, performing annual self-inspections, and managing company training required for PCL and IT security compliance. Must have good knowledge and understanding of the NISPOM.

Experience working as an FSO or Assistant FSO for a company on multiple DoW contracts. Experience managing a facility that not only has non-possessing Secret requirements but Controlled Unclassified Information protection requirements and ITAR/EAR protection requirements. Knowledge and experience with NIST 800-171 R2 and CMMC 2.0.

Must have completed all NISPOM required training for FSO and Insider Threat Program Security Official (ITPSO).

Must be a U.S. Person. Must have an active Secret PCL and be able to pass re-investigations to maintain an active PCL.
