Unmanned Carrier Aviation Subject Matter Expert

This role reports to the Managing Director in his capacity as the leader of the Operational Integration and Training Service Line within CATSHOT Group, LLC. (CATSHOT). • Become part of a team of operational experts responsible for testing, evaluating, mission planning, and instructing all aspects of unmanned carrier aviation, to include Group 5 UAS. • Identify system deficiencies and effectively communicate the mission impact of issues observed during developmental test to programmatic stakeholders • Develop tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for the integration of unmanned carrier aviation into the US Navy Responsibilities: • Serve as a subject matter expert on the integrated operation of the ground control station, air vehicle, and associated systems • Test the integration between the ground control station and the Group 5 UAS. • Create airworthy mission plans for flight test and execution • Operate a simulated air vehicle for the training audience • Ability to travel

• Operational aircrew experience in unmanned (group 3/4/5) or manned aircraft • Mission planning experience • Innate desire to make the system better for the warfighter

• Experience operating aboard an aircraft carrier • US DoD acquisition experience • FRS instructor, weapons school, operational test, or developmental test experience

This position requires the ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. A U.S. Secret Security Clearance must be obtained (interim or final) post start date. Export Control Requirements: U.S. Export Control Requirements must be met in connection with the position. In order to meet U.S. Export Control Requirements applicants must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
